DreamLabX ("DreamLabX," "we," "us," or "our") is an automotive detailing business operating in Hamilton, Ontario, offering interior and exterior detailing, paint correction, ceramic coating, engine bay cleaning, headlight restoration, pet hair removal, and related services, including business-to-business fleet and commercial detailing.
02Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Contact information — name, phone number, email address, and mailing or service address.
- Vehicle information — make, model, and condition notes recorded at intake.
- Booking and payment information — service selected, appointment details, and payment records (we do not store full credit card numbers; payments are processed through Square and Squarespace Payments/Stripe).
- Photographs — before/after photos of vehicles taken for quality documentation and, where permitted, marketing.
- Communications — messages you send us by email, phone, text, or through our website contact/booking forms.
- Website usage data — general analytics data collected automatically when you browse dreamlabx.com.
03How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments;
- Process payments and issue invoices/receipts;
- Communicate with you about your booking, including by SMS and email;
- Respond to inquiries and provide customer support;
- Send promotional offers, seasonal service reminders, and referral program updates, where you have agreed to receive them;
- Maintain accurate service and vehicle-condition records; and

04SMS / Text Messaging
If you provide your phone number when booking a service or contacting us, you may receive text messages from DreamLabX. The information below describes our messaging program.
Data Sharing
- Customer data is not shared with 3rd parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
- Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing that may be mentioned elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data.
DreamLabX Messaging Terms and Conditions
- The messaging program consists of general conversational messaging to answer questions and provide support to customers, promotional offers or discounts, any promotion of your products/services.
- You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text 'STOP' to the phone number from which you received messages. After you send the SMS message 'STOP' to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
- If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at info@dreamlabx.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency will vary based on communication needs. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

05Photography & Marketing
DreamLabX may photograph vehicles before and after service for quality documentation and, unless you opt out, for marketing purposes (e.g., before/after content on our website and social media). Vehicles are photographed in a manner that does not identify licence plates or personal information unless you separately agree. You may decline marketing use of your photos at any time by notifying us before your appointment.
06How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- With service providers who help us operate the business — for example, Squarespace (website and booking), Setmore (scheduling), Square and Squarespace Payments/Stripe (payment processing), and Wave (bookkeeping) — solely to perform those functions on our behalf;
- With commercial/fleet clients, where a Certificate of Insurance or similar documentation naming them is required;
- Where required by law, regulation, or a valid legal request; or
- With your consent.
As stated above, mobile opt-in and SMS consent data is never shared with any third party for any purpose.
07Data Retention
We retain booking, payment, and vehicle-condition records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, meet warranty obligations, and comply with tax and legal record-keeping requirements. You may request deletion of your information at any time, subject to records we are legally required to retain.
08Your Choices
- Opt out of marketing texts at any time by replying STOP.
- Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any promotional email.
- Decline photography for marketing use by notifying us before your appointment.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting info@dreamlabx.com.
09Cookies & Website Analytics
Our website, dreamlabx.com, is hosted on Squarespace, which may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and provide basic analytics (e.g., page views, traffic sources). You can control cookies through your browser settings.
10Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information in our care, including limiting access to booking and payment systems to DreamLabX partners. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
